Chancellors of three credible Indian universities were in Tehran to sign memorandum of understandings (MOU) with the Iranian universities of Allameh Tabataba'i , reported CINVU. Organized by Iran’s cultural attaché office in New Delhi and the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization’s (ICRO) center of expanding academic-scientific cooperation, Vice Chancellors of Jamia Hamdard University, M.J.P. Rohilkhand University as well as Jamia Millia Islamia, Dr. G.N Qazi, Mushahid Husain and Talat Ahmad, respectively, will stay for a week in the country to get acquainted with Iranian research and scientific centers.
This is the first time, a group of Indian university officials are visiting the country through the Iranian cultural attaché office in India, the public relations department of ICRO reported on Wednesday. Several cultural programs have been planned for the academic officials; visiting the holy shrine of Imam Khomeini, Milad Tower, Tehran’s traditional markets, Kashan city’s ancient architectures as well as other specialized visits from Royan Research Institute, Pardis Technology Park and scientific-research centers.
