The President of COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU), Dr. Mahdi Javanmard, has announced his resignation after 4 years in office. “After consultations with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) I decided that it would be more appropriate for CINVU to change the chairman, according to the Network Statute” Javanmard said, adding that his period in office had been a successful one: “I have no sense of failure or regret in taking that decision. My pried was actually finished in last December. ” He said he would “continue to teach and do research at Payam Noor University” as an academic member.
The Ministry of Science, Research and Technology showed gratitude for the management and experience of Dr. Javanmard during his administration period by a letter of appreciation to his decision.
COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an independent, intergovernmental organization (IGO) with its headquarter located in Tehran, and hosted by the government of Islamic Republic of Iran. CINVU is working under the umbrella of COMSTECH.
