Tehran University of Medical Sciences will join to CINVU in order to develop international communication, scientific networking and strengthen the category of visibility in various fields of medical sciences such as health, treatment, medical education, research, technology, providing services and producing products.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU, at the meeting of the International Council of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, which was held to review and introduce the communication, executive and scientific capacities and capabilities of CINVU and discuss cooperation, referring to the membership of 75 universities in this international organization, he provided the scientific and communication platforms for the development of cooperation in the field of medical education and said: Elites, students, professors and universities can provide educational, research, cultural and skill capabilities by taking advantage of the favorable facilities and capacities provided in CINVU, according to their interests and tendencies in various fields of science.

While pointing to the historical and operational dimensions of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the activities of COMSTECH as its scientific and technological arm, he said: With the membership of 57 countries, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is considered the second most important international organization after the United Nations, and CINVU as one of the networks of the Permanent Committee for Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, with the abbreviated name of COMSTECH, It is responsible for realizing justice in the field of knowledge and thought, deepening and consolidating what has been learned, and empowering students, professors, universities, and elites in the Islamic world in terms of education, research, culture, and skills.

Dr. Najafi Barzegar emphasized that after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Islamic Republic of Iran has become one of the leading countries in the field of medical sciences, and added: Tehran University of Medical Sciences, being a member of CINVU, can enjoy executive and technical support to take advantage of the valuable and effective connections of this scientific and technological organization in order to develop scientific and international exchanges and interactions with other universities in Islamic countries.

Dr. Ali Karimi Morid, Deputy of Strategic Affairs and Head of the Permanent Secretariat of CINVU, announced his readiness to establish international relations between Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Islamic universities and countries in this coordination meeting: Currently, more than 430 knowledge-based companies approved by the Presidential Vice President for Science and Technology are operating in the field of health, healthcare and treatment, relying on the mission of CINVU to direct interactions, the possibility of cooperation between these companies with international organizations and similar companies in There are different countries that of course, in this direction, accurate information about the number and type of activity of knowledge-based companies of Tehran University of Medical Sciences seems necessary.

Pointing to the necessity of making everyone aware of the capabilities of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, he announced his readiness to help launch an international journal for medical sciences and further said: The category of networking between universities in the world with a focus on universities in the field of medical sciences is of great importance, in this regard, in addition to Islamic countries, the potential of observer member countries in CINVU such as Canada, Russia and Thailand can also be interacted and used in cooperation with Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

Dr. Karimi Morid emphasized that the exhibition platform and virtual store of science and technology of CINVU will be unveiled soon, he stated: This platform can be a very safe and reliable international platform to present the products of knowledge-based companies of Tehran University of Medical Sciences along with other universities.

He stated that one of the effective activities of the network of virtual universities in the Islamic world is the design and creation of smart platforms aimed at facilitating scientific and technological interaction, he continued: The foreign currency payment portal of CINVU has also been put into operation, which provides a very suitable environment for facilitating financial and currency exchanges.

Dr. Karimi Morid announced his readiness to launch the International Committee of Medical Sciences of the Islamic World with activity of Tehran University of Medical Sciences in the Supreme Strategic Council of CINVU: With the membership of Tehran University of Medical Sciences in CINVU, a panel will be provided to this collection, which can be used for activities such as informing and attracting foreign students in virtual form, in addition, CINVU is ready to cooperate with Tehran University of Medical Sciences in the field of communication, content production, launching electronic publications, providing international legal support and selling knowledge-based products.

In this event, Dr. Mohammad Hossein Ayati, International Vice President of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, while welcoming the Secretary General and Strategic and Executive Vice President of CINVU, expressed his interest in getting to know more and connecting with this collection and referring to the four-year program of the International Vice-Chancellor of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, he added: The main focus of this program is on the category of internationalization, and we are trying to move this group towards an international university in various fields, including health, treatment, medical education, research, technology, service provision, and product production.

Pointing out that one of the most important criteria for internationalization is global visibility, Dr. Ayati said: The category of visibility is very important in the international ranking of the university; We should spend a part of our power to be seen in the world arena, because the more the university is seen, the higher the rank, and then the development of international communication will be realized.

He stated: Based on this and considering the capacities of CINVU, we are pursuing membership in it and the continuation of the formed communication in order to witness new opportunities for the introduction of the university at the world level and academic cooperation.

Dr. Ayati also relied on the activity of 22 desks and four rooms of scientific cooperation of the university with different countries, proposed dedicating a desk to CINVU in Tehran University of Medical Sciences and following up on the process of cooperation in this way, and asked the director of international relations of the university to make the necessary arrangements.

Dr. Arman Zargran, Director of International Development of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, also introduced the capabilities of this university and said: During the past decade, the International Vice-Chancellor of Tehran University of Medical Sciences has entered various fields and has so far succeeded in attracting more than 1,370 international students from 50 countries of the world at various levels of study.
He emphasized the availability of necessary infrastructure for international cooperation with different countries in the university: Education in this group is conducted in English for international students, while the international college of the university has provided a great opportunity to teach English and Persian to non-Persian speakers.

Dr. Mohammad Hossein Nakofar, director of international relations of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, also pointed out some points related to the international interactions of this university: We welcome the construction of a smart communication platform by CINVU and we hope that this platform will solve part of the infrastructure problems in international interactions.
