Collaboration between CINVU and ISC for International Indexing of Academic Journals

The international indexing of academic journals from non-Iranian universities in Islamic countries will be carried out in collaboration with CINVU and ISC.
According to the CINVU Public Relations Report, The functional outcome of the academic journals from non-Iranian universities in Islamic countries will be evaluated and indexed in a process that meets global standards, utilizing a wide range of scientometrics tools.
Dr. Ahmad Pourghasem, the Education Director of CINVU, announced the readiness of CINVU's executive and technological infrastructure to accept and organize the academic journals of non-Iranian universities in Islamic countries. He stated that CINVU members will have priority in this process, which will be supported by COMSTECH.
Dr. Mohammadreza Falahati Ghadimi Foumani, the Director of International Development at ISC, mentioned that two processes have been planned for the indexing of journals. He stated that eligible journals will be indexed, while special classes will be held for others to help them achieve the necessary metrics and standards. He also noted that access to ISC's academic databases has been made available free of charge for CINVU members.
According to this report, the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) pursues a fundamental approach aimed at "to achieve authority in measuring and evaluating the scientific development and research performance of the countries of the Islamic world and to have a reputable position on par with international citation and ranking centers."
It is worth mentioning that the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran. With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
