Scientific and Technological Cooperation Exhibition Held at the Fourth General Assembly of CINVU

The Scientific and Technological Cooperation Exhibition and Knowledge-Based Achievements were held during the opening ceremony of the Fourth General Assembly of CINVU with the participation of presidents and representatives of universities and higher education institutions of Islamic countries, along with ambassadors and political elites.

According to the CINVU Public Relations Report, Sina Surgical Robot, Hodhod and Kowsar Satellites, the all-Iranian Electric Car, Safir Drone, and Rasam Drone were among the prominent achievements presented at the Scientific and Technological Cooperation Exhibition at the Fourth General Assembly of CINVU.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator-General of COMSTECH, with the participation of Dr. Seyed Ahmadreza Khezri, Advisor to the Minister and Director General of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU, and Dr. Mohammad Hadi Amin Najafi, President of Payame Noor University of Iran.

Coordinator-General of COMSTECH: We thank Iran for leading CINVU in providing services beneficial to all 57 member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

The Coordinator-General of COMSTECH, as the highest scientific and technological authority of Islamic countries, said during the opening of the exhibition: "Such exhibitions provide a platform for empowering the convergence of Islamic countries." He also thanked Iran for leading CINVU in providing services beneficial to all 57 member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

The Scientific and Technological Cooperation Exhibition and Knowledge-Based Achievements encompassed three sections: Education and Academic, Pharmaceutical, Agricultural and Medical Equipment, and Primary and Infrastructural Industries. This event was supported by COMSTECH, CINVU, the Presidential Innovation and Prosperity Fund, Tehran Chamber of Commerce, House of Industry, Mining, and Trade of Iranian Youth, Niksazan Development Trade Company, and Payame Noor University of Iran.

In the Education and Academic section, renowned Iranian universities presented their latest scientific, research, and educational achievements. Tehran University of Medical Sciences introduced innovations in artificial intelligence and cancer treatment, and Iran University of Medical Sciences presented significant achievements in artificial intelligence. Additionally, Science and Culture University, Islamic Azad University, and Tehran University of Medical Sciences also introduced their international educational programs.

The Primary Industries section hosted leading industrial companies that play a key role in various fields. Iran Delco, a pioneer in the catalyst industry; Biston Oil and Gas Development Company; Honamik Oil and Gas Industries Development Company; Bakhtar Installation Industrial and Automotive Group, the producer of the new generation of electric vehicles; Ahar Power Plant Services Company, a pioneer in providing indigenous turbine control systems; and Soroush Fanavari Yektay Roz, the first producer of firefighting drones, were among the active companies.

In the Pharmaceutical, Agricultural, and Medical Equipment section, large and experienced companies presented new achievements in health, agriculture, and technology. The Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute, with over 90 years of history; the National Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology; Darman Yab Darou Company; Ramo Pharmeen Company; Actoverco Company; Vira Rahesh Farmed Company; and the Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center from the Agricultural Jihad, were among the participants.

One of the highlights of the exhibition was the presence of Omid Satellite Company with new achievements in indigenous satellites, which attracted the attention of visitors. Throughout the exhibition, numerous sessions based on aligned topics were held, providing an opportunity for dialogue and knowledge transfer among experts, merchants, and enthusiasts.

This exhibition aimed to introduce capacities and expand industrial, commercial, and international and regional investment relations and promote innovation and technology. The extensive activity of universities and knowledge-based and industrial companies in this event indicates Iran's high capabilities in various scientific and industrial fields.

According to the report, during this event, Payame Noor University of Iran, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, ACECR of Iran, ACECR of Tehran, ACECR of Medical Sciences, Iran University of Medical Sciences, Islamic Azad University, Smart University of Medical Sciences, University of Science and Culture, Knowledge-Based Company Darmanyab Daru, Knowledge-Based Company Ramopharmin, Knowledge-Based Company Actoverco., Knowledge-Based Company Vira Rahesh Pharmed, Knowledge-Based Company Nanoij Co., Razi Institute, National Genetics Institute, Knowledge-Based Company Pila Tech, Knowledge-Based Company IHEC, Knowledge-Based Company Bakhtar Sanati, Knowledge-Based Company Iran Delco, Knowledge-Based Company Naft Bistoon, Knowledge-Based Company Honamic Co., Knowledge-Based Company Ahar, Knowledge-Based Company Safir, Knowledge-Based Company Farabord, Knowledge-Based Company Rasam Rad, Knowledge-Based Company Nouavaran Robotics and Sina Medical, Hammers Rad Electronics Industries Company, Dr. Jian Educational Group, Nouavaran Danesh Publications, and Niksazan Trading Center presented their achievements.

It is worth mentioning that the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran. With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
