To expand scientific, educational, and research cooperation, the Amirkabir University of Technology of Iran joined the big family of the CINVU by accepting the membership document of this international scientific and academic network.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, The Amirkabir University of Technology of Iran, with more than six decades of history, has several faculties, research institutes and independent educational groups, educational units in Iranian cities, international campus, laboratories and specialized educational centers and various scientific publications.

According to the world's academic evaluation systems, which evaluate and rank the world's best universities every year based on valid scientific metrics, this university has been ranked first among the technical universities of Iran and the region many times.

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
