The Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the host of the CINVU International Organization, the only academic organization of Islamic countries, issued a statement expressing support for the Academic Movement Supporting the Oppressed Palestinian People.

According to the CINVU Public Relations Report, The statement, published by the Iran MSRT's International Scientific Cooperation Center, stated:

"The oppressed people of Palestine have been tolerating the worst kind of terrorism for more than sixty years... in today's world; do you know such a cruelty in this bulk and with such time continuity? Shooting a woman in the roadway just for the crime of protesting to a soldier armed to the teeth, if it is not terrorism, then what is it?, Since this barbarism is carrying out by the military forces of aggressor government, shouldn't it be called extremism? or maybe these pictures should no longer provoke our conscience just because they have been repeatedly seen on TV screens for sixty years. Dear young people, I hope that you will change this mentality that is contaminated by deceit, a mentality whose art is to hide distant goals and embellish insidious purposes... If the cruel of today do not become the basis for building a better and safer tomorrow, they will be reduced to bitter and fruitless memories. I believe that only you young people will be able to find new ways to build the future by taking a lesson from today's adversities and become a barrier to the mistakes that have brought the west to its current position. Westerners and Zionist supporters have faced a naked truth; the units of the nations in the West and America are dumb-founded; the arrest of nearly 2500 students and professors at Columbia, Boston, Los Angeles, Austin, Texas, Yale, New York, Massachusetts, Emory, Harvard, Brown, Michigan, Minnesota, Berkeley and dozens of other universities with violent police presence and the use of teae gas only for the crime of shouting against the Zionist genocide in the massacre of 35 thousand innocent Palestinians, nearly 15 thousand of whom are children who have not experienced the alphabet of life; an event that shook the mentality and image of democracy in the west like a hollow cymbal in front of general thoughts and created a chain of widespread protests against the unquestionable support of the unified of this child-killing regime in scientific communities.

Now, a new wave of awakening has begun in the conscience of people, especially academics all over the world, which promising a stable and continuous movement in asserting the rights of the oppressed Palestinian nation. Academics all over the world, especially American and Western countries, have started the humanitarian movements based on the defense of humanity and human rights, and have launched a wave of support for the oppressed people of Gaza.

While thanks God and thanking the academics all over the world, especially the dear academics who, in the heart of the countries that claim human rights, based on responsibility and human duty and respect for the right to life of a nation, and with awareness and courage, want an end to oppression and aggression in the occupied territories and assert the rights of the oppressed Palestinian people by forming numerous gatherings in universities. We declare that you continue this movement until the end of this occupation and the condemnation of the Zionist regime.

The Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, while condemning the brutal and beastly crimes of the child-killing Zionist regime and condemning the security encounters with students and professors, requests the managers of scientific societies and related institutions in European and American countries to respect the right to freedom of expression in universities and prevent security forces from entering universities to suppress academics. In the hope of the final victory of the Palestinian nation and hold prayers in Bayt al-Maqdis, hopefully.
