Appointment of a Member of the Strategic Council of CINVU

By order of Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU Mr. Seyed Ismail Seyed Ashrafi, Secretary of the National Association of Free Technical and Vocational Schools of Iran, in order to use the capacities and experiences of skill-based training Islam was appointed.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU, met with Mr. Seyed Ismail Seyed Ashrafi, referring to Article 5 of the Statute of CINVU one of the basic missions of this scientific and academic organization is to empower the students of Islamic countries, whose scientific goals and the quality of its implementation will be examined in the specialized committee of the Strategic Council of CINVU.

He went on to describe the limitations of the COVID19 epidemic as an opportunity to take advantage of the potential of e-learning, which can strengthen the ability of students and the growth of development indicators in the Islamic world by including the provisions of skills-based education.

Dr. Ali Karimi Morid, Executive and Strategic Vice President and Head of the Permanent Secretariat of CINVU considered the provision of skills-based education as an important and strategic advantage of CINVU, which can lead to the empowerment of low-income countries in the Islamic world by utilizing the capacities and experiences of implementing technical and vocational education in Iran.

Seyed Ismail Seyed Ashrafi, Secretary of the National Association of Free Technical and Vocational Schools of Iran, also presented a report on the implementation of the "Iran-Skills" project and the skill training program of Iran's Free Technical and Vocational Schools, emphasizing the sharing of these educational capacities with Islamic countries.

National Association of Trade Unions of Free Technical and Vocational Schools of Iran is currently responsible for leading specialized specialized schools in the fields of automotive, electrical, electronics, construction, welding, ceramics, chemical, wood, textile, metal, marine, care, beauty And hairdressing, handicrafts, clothing, nanotechnology, environment and medicinal plants.

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
