Expanding the Academic Cooperation of the CINVU with Syria

The CINVU Consultant and Special Representative in a meeting with the Syrian Arab Republic Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Deputy discussed a range of academic collaborations and helping the process of re-creating scientific, educational, research, technological, and knowledge-based communications.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, Dr. Mina Kaviani, the CINVU Consultant and Special Representative in this meeting introduced the capabilities and achievements of CINVU as the most prominent academic, educational, scientific and technological Islamic network and expressed: Based on the approach of creating synergy and scientific, educational, research and technological empowerment of the Islamic world, the CINVU has been able to organize a large community of more than 150 members by using the strategic capacities of academic and knowledge-based communication.

She continued by referring to the distinguished history of the cooperation of the CINVU with the Syrian Virtual University and the beginning of the cooperation of this network with the Syrian Al-Sham Private University and reminded: Based on its fundamental approach, the CINVU is always ready to provide executive and communication abilities and capacities in order to exchange knowledge and technology to Universities, Higher Education Institutions, Educational Institutes, Skilled and Applied Training Institutions, Research Institutes, Think Tanks, Knowledge-Based and Technological Companies, Organizations and the Governments of the Islamic world.

In the end, Dr. Kaviani emphasized: In addition to strengthening the process of cooperation with Syrian universities, the communication infrastructure of the CINVU will be provided to the Syrian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to expand intergovernmental links with the Ministry of Higher Education of other countries of the Islamic world.

Dr. Firouzkouhi, the Islamic Republic of Iran Scientific Consultant in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq, also pointed to the functions and approaches of the CINVU and said: This international network, as the only reliable scientific and educational organization in all the countries of the Islamic world, always strives to create a suitable platform for educational and research support based on communication and information technology, causing the growth of cooperation, cooperation and common thinking among scientists, intellectuals, students, researchers, provided the technologists and entrepreneurs of the countries of the Islamic world.

In the continuation of this meeting, Dr. Fadia Youssef Deeb, the Syrian Arab Republic Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Deputy, expressed her readiness to conclude a memorandum of cooperation with CINVU and stated: There are great capacities for scientific, educational, research, technological and knowledge-based cooperation between universities and governmental and non-governmental organizations of Syria with the CINVU.

In addition to presenting the proposal of holding a coordination and cooperation meeting between the Directors of the CINVU and the Syrian Arab Republic Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with Dr. Khalil Ajami the Syrian Virtual University President, She emphasized: Considering the return of Syria to the Arab society, the CINVU can play a role in introducing the scientific capacities and expanding the academic relations of Syria with the universities of the Islamic world, and this process can be organized in two sections, students and faculty members.

According to this report, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Syrian Arab Republic will soon invite the Secretary General of the CINVU for an official visit to this country.

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
