The Secretary-General of CINVU met with the Advisor to the Minister and Director-General of the Ministerial Office of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran to deepen and expand cooperation.

According to the CINVU Public Relations Report, presenting a report on the outcomes and achievements of the Fourth General Assembly and discussing the strategic executive programs of CINVU in the Islamic world were the results of the meeting between Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary-General of CINVU, and Dr. Seyed Ahmadreza Khezri, Advisor to the Minister and Director-General of the Ministerial Office of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran.

The Advisor to the Minister and Director-General of the Ministerial Office of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran said that the Iranian government, in addition to continuing its comprehensive support and honorable hosting of three inter-Islamic networks, is ready for further cooperation and synergy with COMSTECH.

The Secretary-General of CINVU also expressed gratitude again for the comprehensive support and hosting of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran for this COMSTECH network. He considered the presence and valuable speech of Dr. Khezri at the opening ceremony of the Fourth General Assembly of CINVU, representing Dr. Hossein Simayi Sarraf, Minister of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran, as a reflection of the Iranian government's valuable perspective on scientific diplomacy with Islamic countries.

At the end of this meeting, the establishment of greater cohesion and cooperation between CINVU and the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran in the framework of educational, research, and knowledge-based cooperation programs was agreed upon. It was also suggested that due to CINVU's expertise and capabilities in organizing international events such as the Fourth General Assembly of the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU), this network should take on an executive role in several aspects of the process of holding the Islamic Countries' Ministers of Science Meeting (OIC-15).

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
