The Secretary General of CINVU in a meeting with the new Rectorof Payame Noor University said: Utilizing the capacities created in CINVU can be effective in strengthening inter-university relations and attracting foreign students to compensate for the budget deficit of Payame Noor University.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU, met with Dr. Ebrahim Taghizadeh, Rectorof Payame Noor University, to congratulate him on his worthy appointment, universities of 57 Islamic countries pointed out that the number of virtual students in the Islamic world has increased from 8 million to 30 million students, adding that the adoption of a development-oriented approach in CINVU Used among elites, thinkers, universities and Islamic countries.

In the end, Dr. Najafi Barzegar emphasized: CINVU is an important and rich base for strengthening and developing public higher education in the virtual context of information technology, which aims to achieve justice in the field of knowledge and thought cultural and skillful countries of Islamic countries are active, so the use of these capacities can be effective in strengthening inter-university relations and attracting foreign students in order to compensate for the budget deficit of Payame Noor University.

In this meeting, which was held in the presence of Dr. Ali Karimi Morid, Head of the Permanent Secretariat of CINVU, Dr. Taghizadeh, Rector of Payame Noor University, thanked Dr. Najafi Barzegar and appreciated the important steps taken in CINVU, and expressed hope that Payame Noor University has been introduced as an international hub by the Ministry of Science of the Islamic Republic of Iran by using the capacities created by CINVU, the activities of Payame Noor University in the field of virtual education and interaction with transnational universities, especially universities in Islamic countries, will be strengthened.

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
