The Secretary General of CINVU met with the President of D8 International University and the accompanying delegation in order to take advantage of the international capacities in knowledge exchange, provide academic and skills training and strengthen educational cooperation in a smart context.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU, met with Dr. Afkhami, President of D8 International University, to further strengthen bilateral relations and scientific and technological exchanges in order to implement the goals and missions, Emphasized the realization of educational justice and the provision of skills-based training, especially in low-income Islamic countries.

Referring to the cooperation capacities between CINVU and D8 International University, he expressed hope that this university has become a member of CINVU to take effective measures as an international university in cooperation with other members of this scientific organization. At the end of the event, the President of D8 International University was appointed by the Secretary General of CINVU as a senior member of the Educational Committee of the Strategic Council of this network.

D8 International University has been established in Bu Ali University of Hamadan since 2019 and its members are from Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt, Nigeria, Malaysia, Indonesia and Bangladesh, which are members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the target community of CINVU.

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
