The new strategies and methods for expanding collaboration in educational, research, and knowledge-based projects were discussed during a meeting between the Secretary General of CINVU and the Deputy Minister and the new Head of the International Scientific Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran.

According to the CINVU Public Relations Report, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, the Secretary General of CINVU, in this meeting, in addition to presenting a report on the approach and outcomes of CINVU's programs and achievements, expressed readiness to accelerate cooperation, especially in expanding the utilization of educational, research, and technological resources for the progress and empowerment of Islamic countries.

Dr. Ali Karimi Morid, Strategic Executive Deputy and Head of the Permanent Secretariat of CINVU, also in this meeting elaborated on the details of four major projects: CEAQUALES, CEATQUALES, the CINVU Plus Superapplication, and SuperUniversity, as well as the future plans of CINVU.

Dr. Farhad Yeke Yazdandoost, the Deputy Minister and the new Head of the International Scientific Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran, also stated in this meeting that the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran, as always, is ready to host and provide any support for the three COMSTECH scholarly networks based in Iran.

He also stated that holding the gathering of Islamic countries' higher education ministers (OIC-15) in the upcoming May in Iran is a worthy opportunity to review and present solutions in the fields of knowledge, technology, and innovation in the Islamic world and expressed that due to its good background and expertise, CINVU should cooperate with the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology for holding this international event.

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
