Ufa University of Science and Technology of Russia (UUST) Joins the CINVU

According to the Public Relations office CINVU, in line with expanding international scientific cooperation and strengthening cross-border academic relations, Ufa University of Science and Technology of Russia has officially become a member of this international network.

As one of Russia's largest, leading, and prominent universities in the fields of technology, engineering, and basic sciences, Ufa University of Science and Technology has commenced its cooperation with the Virtual University Network of the Islamic World by signing the relevant documents. This strategic membership will pave the way for the extensive exchange of knowledge, modern educational technologies, and the establishment of joint virtual courses between this major Russian university and other member universities of the network across the Islamic world.

Welcoming the accession of this distinguished university, the CINVU Permanent Secretariat announced that the presence of Ufa University of Science and Technology, with its outstanding research and laboratory capacities, provides new opportunities for members to define joint projects in the fields of digital transformation, blended learning, and enhancing the quality of higher education. Among the most important objectives of this membership are the design of joint learning platforms, the facilitation of technology transfer processes, the organization of seasonal schools and specialized workshops online, and the promotion of scientific exchanges among professors and researchers.The Russian Federation is an observer member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by Shahid Beheshti University of Iran on behalf of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
