During a ceremony attended by students, university professors, government officials and the media of Mali, a group of university officials from Tunisia, Ivory Coast and Gabon and the virtual presence of Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU, opened the first virtual university of the Republic of Mali.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, Bamako University Of Science Technical And Technologies in Mali has provided virtual educational programs with the help, facilitation and utilization of the experiences of CINVU.

On this basis, the membership of this university in CINVU caused the facilitation of holding virtual courses to this university by the authorities of the Republic of Mali.

Bamako University Of Science Technical And Technologies, which has been operating since 2011, has faculties of science and technology, medicine and dentistry, pharmacy, applied sciences and several scientific academies, Iran and university officials, the complex is currently operating in the form of virtual education.

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
