The Responsibility of Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar as the General Secretary of CINVU was Extended for Another Four Years.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, The Deputy Minister of the Iran's MSRT extended the responsibility of Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar in the leadership of CINVU, which is considered the Academic arm of the COMSTECH and OIC, Based on paragraph 3 of article 10 of the constitution of this international organization.

Najafi Barzegar completed his postdoctoral studies in history at Jawaharlal Nehru University in India. His Responsibilities in the past years include, Deputy of Cultural, Social and Student of Payame Noor University of Iran, International Deputy of ICRO of Iran, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in India, Member of the Executive Board of Recruitment of Faculty Members of the MSRT of Iran and etc.

Among the achievements of CINVU since the beginning of his management period until now, It can be referred to Writing the Statute and Work Regulations similar By-Law Instrument of the Executive Committee and By-Law of the Comprehensive Cooperation, The beginning of the process of recruiting members from Universities, Institutes, Scientific and Technological Accelerators and Knowledge Based Companies, Creating smart infrastructures, especially various systems for Education, Research and Assessment, Compilation of Database, International Accreditation of Educational Certificates and Documents and etc.

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
