According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, quoted by Taqrib News Agency, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU, addressed the 19th webinar of the 35th International Conference on Islamic Unity on the topic of "Explaining the United Nation and the Union of Islamic Countries" said: Unity is of special importance and the Holy Quran in various verses invites all religions to unity and prevents division and conflict.

He emphasized: Our literature, culture and history show the unity and good news of unity and avoidance of division among Muslims and the establishment of peaceful coexistence between different religions and sects, and one of the aspirations of Islamic thinkers is to create unity under the banner of Islam.

Dr. Najafi Barzegar said: Invitation to unity is one of the most important Islamic ideas, When we look at history, we see personalities such as Seyyed Jamal al-Din Asadabadi, Sheikh Mohammad Abdu, Kashif al-Ghatta, Iqbal Lahori, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Kawakbi, Seyyed Abul Hassan Nadavi, one of the founders of Nadwa al-Ulama in India, and so on. They prevented divisions in order to raise the Islamic vision against the influence of Western culture and to be able to prevent the influence of this culture in the Islamic society.

The Secretary General of CINVU stated: One of the goals of the enemy was to promote religious, ethnic, etc. divisions in Islamic countries, including Iran, so that they could rule the people. He added: One of the ideas of scholars and various personalities of the Islamic world was to be able to stand against Western culture, return the Islamic identity to the Islamic society and Islamic unity to occur in the Islamic world therefore, the explanation of a single nation has been one of the old debates of scholars in Islamic countries.

Dr. Najafi Barzegar said: The wish for the realization of unity that people like Allama Iqbal Lahori had in mind, was realized with the Islamic Revolution under the leadership of the founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA); A cultural revolution that changed the entire culture of its contemporaries in Iran and the world, created a global movement and brought to mind the great ideas that were in the world.

The Secretary General of CINVU stated: Since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, one of the most important policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been the issue of Islamic unity, and in this regard, every year during the Week of Unity, And this is a great movement that has caused the Islamic awakening in the world and follows the grand vision of reaching a new Islamic civilization, a civilization that can cover all different aspects of human life.

He continued: One of the most important components of modern Islamic civilization is the issue of monotheism throughout history, if a nation or a land is destroyed, it is due to division and conflict between different ethnic groups, because division causes the destruction of the power of nations.

The Secretary General of CINVU said: One of the effective programs of the Assembly of Approximation, which is one of its strategic policies, is the discussion of the Union of Islamic Countries, which is very important to establish make the Islamic world flow.

He pointed out: CINVU is a network related to the Comstech Science and Technology Committee, which is a subset of the OIC Organization of Islamic Cooperation and consists of 57 Islamic countries, which is a great opportunity.

Dr. Najafi Barzegar further stated: One of the committees that exists in the OIC and is a very important committee is the Committee for the Investigation of the Quds Issue supporting Palestine and Jerusalem is one of the goals of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The important strategy of the Islamic world is to support the land of Palestine, which is currently being considered not only by Iran but also by various Islamic countries and even beyond, non-Islamic countries, in the discussion of the rights of the Palestinians.

He added: It is gratifying that the Islamic awakening has taken place in the world and we should be able to activate the Union of Universities of the Islamic World and the World Union of Islamic Scholars.

The Secretary General of CINVU noted: One of the ways that can strengthen unity for us is that Islamic countries can know each other's capabilities and can use their scientific, technological and economic capacities to become independent and culture turn west.
