Secretary General of CINVU visits the achievements of Iranian Renewable Energy Organization

The Secretary General of CINVU visited one of the five research sites of Renewable Energy Organization of Iran and inspected the scientific and engineering achievements of this organization in the field of using clean and renewable energy.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU, visited the Taleghan research site of the Renewable Energy Organization of Iran and visited the engineering capabilities and achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran Fuel cell, solar energy, geothermal energy, wind turbine, biomass and thermal recycling, expressed their readiness for joint cooperation between CINVU and SATBA in order to introduce Iran's engineering services and clean technologies to Islamic countries.

In this event, Dr. Akbar Shabani Kia, Director General of the Research, Technology and Innovation Office of the Renewable Energy Organization of Iran, said that promoting energy efficiency and using more renewable and clean resources and creating related infrastructure are the main goals of SATBA to increase energy supply efficiency and reduce transmission losses, Energy distribution and consumption are among its benefits.

Referring to Iran's experiences in the industrial use of renewable energy and the design and production of hydrogen-burning propulsion for motorcycles, he stressed the readiness to export technical, engineering and educational services of new energies to Islamic countries with the participation of CINVU.

In this event, which was accompanied by the presence of Dr. Ali Karimi Morid, Deputy of Strategic Affairs and Executive and Head of the Permanent Secretariat of CINVU, other areas of joint cooperation and preparing the necessary arrangements for concluding the Memorandum of Understanding were discussed next week.

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
