During a ceremony attended by Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Mirahmadi, President of Ahl al-Bayt University, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of the CINVU, administrators, deputies and a group of academics, Ahl al-Bayt (AS) University accepted membership in the CINVU.

According to the public relations of the CINVU, In this event, which was accompanied by the signing of the membership document of Ahl al-Bayt University in the CINVU, Dr. Najafi Barzegar, while explaining the strategic plans and desirable capacities created in this international scientific and academic organization, stressed the importance of spreading the life-giving culture of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) referred to the Islamic world and considered the connection of universities, the exchange of professors, students and disciplines and study resources, and the creation of a platform for the formation of a virtual unit in face-to-face universities as the benefits of the CINVU.

Dr. Mirahmadi, while explaining the importance and role of the CINVU, emphasized on continuous bilateral cooperation in accordance with the missions and provisions of the approved statute, further praised the strategic measures taken and the capacities created by the CINVU and called for the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) University to be the center of communication of the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) to the Islamic world.

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
