The appreciation of the Secretary General of CINVU to the Iranian Scientists who won the 2021 COMSTECH Award

During a ceremony with the presence of the Secretary General of CINVU, the Deputy Minister for Research and the Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology in International Affairs, special representatives of COMSTECH and a group of professors and representatives of scientific and technological organizations, Iranian scientists who won the COMSTECH Award in 2021 were appreciated.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU during this event, which was held in the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, appreciated the valuable scientific activities of the scientists of the Islamic world, Dr. Ali Akbar Mosavi Movahadi and Dr. Esmael Ghavanloo, by presenting a certificate of appreciation.

Based on this, Dr. Ali Akbar Mosavi Movahadi, Distinguished Professor and Head of the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics, University of Tehran, has received the Comstock Lifetime Achievement Award in the field of Chemistry. He is considered the founder of physical biochemistry in Iran and has a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Shahid Beheshti University, a master's degree in Eastern Michigan University, and a specialized doctorate in physical biochemistry from the University of Manchester, UK.

In this connection, Dr. Esmael Ghavanloo is also an associate professor of Shiraz University, who spent all his studies in this university and was a member of the academic staff of this university after graduating from the doctorate level. He won the COMSTECH Award for authoring the book Computational Continuum Mechanics of Nanoscopic Structures.

CINVU is one of the Networks affiliated to "COMSTECH",  the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation that hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This International Organization is a base full of knowledge and ability, which strives to expand public higher education based on smart technology with the goal of justice, deepening and reliability of knowledge and thought, and educational, research, cultural and skill empowerment of the Islamic world.
