The President of Allameh Tabatabai University of Iran attended the third General Assembly of CINVU, hosted by Allameh Iqbal University of Pakistan in Islamabad, in order to cooperate with the universities of the Islamic world in the field of creating Islamic humanities, expressed readiness.

According to the public relations of CINVU, Dr. Abdullah Motamedi, President of Allameh Tabatabaei University of Iran, during his speech at this international event, referring to the importance of promoting Islamic humanities in the universities of the Islamic world, said: The basis of humanities in all universities in the world and the Islamic world is based on Western sciences, and we do not have humanities based on our society.

He stated that Allameh Tabatabai University is seriously working on Islamic humanities, adding: Unlike other sciences, such as chemistry and physics, which do not matter in which society they are formed, the humanities are based on cultural foundations and social context, so as countries in the Islamic world, we have a duty to strengthen and promote the Islamic humanities.

Dr. Motamedi, stating that indigenous sciences are now considered in the world, considered the responsibility of the Islamic world to be thinking and providing the fields of Islamic humanities and while announcing the readiness to cooperate with the universities of the Islamic world in this field, emphasized: Allameh Tabatabai University is ready to share the knowledge of its professors in the field of science production, especially Islamic humanities, and to cooperate with capable professors of universities in the Islamic world in this field.

The third General Assembly of CINVU is being held in the presence of the heads and senior representatives of universities of 57 Islamic countries, hosted by Allama Iqbal Open University in Islamabad.

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
