The Series of International Webinar on Methodology in Teaching Humanities Began

The first event of the series of International Webinar on Methodology in Teaching Humanities was held with the participation of academic professors and thinkers from Islamic countries, with the CINVU Education Department's efforts.

According to the CINVU Public Relations Report, Skills vs. Knowledge in Teaching Humanities, the Role of Reflective Practice in Teaching Humanities, and Innovative Teaching Methods in Humanities were among the propositions of the international webinar on methodology in teaching humanities, which was held by Dr. Ahmad Pourghasem, the CINVU Education Director and this Webinar Director from the Amirkabir University of Technology of Iran, Dr. Zahid Majeed from the Allama Iqbal Open University of Pakistan and Dr. M. Gorky Sembiring from the Universitas Terbuka of Indonesia were presented.

Teaching and learning of humanities with the view of applying knowledge and latent skills of humanities is the fundamental approach of the CINVU Education Department, which will be followed up as part of conceptualizing these findings in the series of International Webinar on Methodology in Teaching Humanities.

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
