Concluding of MoU between CINVU and University of Applied Science and Technology of Iran

In order to attract students in various fields of study, provide training and skills courses, hold virtual workshops and provide a joint international degree and certificate, a memorandum of understanding was signed between CINVU and University of Applied Science and Technology of Iran.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU, said at the event, referring to common educational capacities: And technology in Islamic countries, especially low-income countries.

He added: "University of Applied Sciences has very good capacities in science, technology and profession, culture, art and economics, which we can use in Islamic countries."

Dr. Omid, President of University of Applied Science and Technology of Iran, said in the continuation of the meeting: University of Applied Sciences is the first skill university in the country and has been formed based on the use of existing capacities in agriculture, industry, management and social services and culture and art.

Referring to the activities of more than 600 applied science centers in Iran, he added: "Utilizing the facilities and capacities of non-governmental and governmental sectors such as the Red Crescent and the municipality is one of the actions of the Comprehensive University of Applied Sciences."

The President of the University of Applied Science and Technology of Iran expressed hope: "Using the capacity of cyberspace and with the cooperation of CINVU, we can provide skills training and it is expected that these services will be well received."

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
