Expanding the Educational Cooperation of the CINVU with the Allama Iqbal Open University of Pakistan

A range of collaborations, including the exchange of short-term training courses and various teaching methods courses and participation in the joint accreditation and accreditation committee of universities in cooperation with COMSTECH, was accepted at the CINVU and the Allama Iqbal Open University of Pakistan.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, Dr. Ahmad Pourghasem, the CINVU Education Director, in a conversation with the Allama Iqbal Open University's Deputy, referred to CINVU's 2024 Educational Program, said: The five main axes of this program include international validation and accreditation mechanisms, strengthening short-term training centers, teaching the teacher training courses to improve the quality of education in various fields, creating interactive content, and establishing Metaversity, has provided an excellent capacity to expand the educational cooperation.

He added: In the CINVU, in addition to the design of various foreign language courses and short-term skill courses, new infrastructures have been created in the field of educational systems and technologies and at the same time, there is a readiness to present the capabilities of the member universities to other countries of the Islamic world within the framework of the CINVU's missions and goals.

Also in this event, Dr. Elham Garami, the Head of the CINVU Language Training Center, introduced the capabilities of this international center in holding various foreign language training courses and provided explanations regarding the quality and modern teaching methods of these courses and the establishment of special departments for different languages.

Also in this event, Dr. Zahid Majeed, the Deputy of the Allama Iqbal Open University of Pakistan referred to the activities of this university in the field of education based on information technology, said: The Allama Iqbal Open University of Pakistan is a pioneer university that has provided access to distance education and technical and applied education for everyone and always tries to use information technology to expand education.

He also emphasized: The Allama Iqbal Open University of Pakistan is ready to cooperate with the CINVU in the field of providing various courses on teaching methods, participating in the Joint Accreditation and Accreditation Committee of universities in cooperation with COMSTECH, and exchanging short-term courses.

It should be noted that the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which is the fifth most populous country in the world and the second most populous country in the Islamic world, is located in a historical and ancient region and is in the neighborhood of Iran, Afghanistan, China, and India.

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
