Expanding the Educational Cooperation of the CINVU with the Indonesia Terbuka University

A range of collaborations, including cooperation in establishing the Metaversity, the next generation of universities based on metaverse technology and producing interactive educational content, was accepted at the CINVU and the Indonesia Terbuka University meeting.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, Dr. Ahmad Pourghasem, the CINVU Education Director, in a conversation with the Vice Rector of the Indonesia Terbuka University, referred to CINVU's Educational program for 2024, said: The five main axes of this program include accreditation, strengthening short-term training centers, teaching teacher training courses to improve the quality of education in various fields, create interactive content and the establishment of Metaversity, has provided an excellent capacity to expand the educational cooperation of CINVU with the Indonesia Terbuka University.

Dr. Rahmat Budiman, the Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, Partnership, and Business of Indonesia Terbuka University, in addition to introducing the educational capacities of this university, stated that Terbuka University currently offers more than 600 courses, 25 of which are in English, and the rest of these courses are being translated and said: Terbuka University is ready to cooperate with CINVU in providing joint training courses, creating Metaversity and other fields.

At the end of this meeting, after the discussion about the educational axes, a range of cooperation between the CINVU and Indonesia Terbuka University, which is considered one of the most important universities in Indonesia with a quarter of the world's Muslim population, including holding training courses, cooperation in the establishment of Metaversity, the future generation of universities based on metaverse technology, the production of interactive educational content, as well as holding a separate meeting to discuss the fields of cooperation in international accreditation and validation was accepted.

According to this report, the implementation process of the action plan of the CINVU in the Education Department, which has reached the acceptance of the members of the education committee of this international organization from the prestigious universities of the countries of the Islamic world, has started recently. The approach of this program, changing the education paradigm by passing through the common form of education, providing interactive training, and relying on practical and skill training, transforming the teaching method, and creating an accreditation system for academic and educational documents and certificates has emphasized.

Holding bilateral meetings of the CINVU Educational Department with the Universities of the Islamic World is one of the ways to expand educational cooperation and use of capacities is based on the provisions of this program, which will be implemented with all member universities of this organization.

Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
