Representatives of Iran's Virtual Universities meet with the Deputy of CINVU

In order to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation, the representatives of Iran's virtual universities met with the Deputy of Strategic Affairs and Head of the Permanent Secretariat of CINVU.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, in this event, which was held for the first time with the presence of representatives of eight universities and active virtual university units of Iran as one of the 57 member countries of CINVU at the headquarters of this scientific and academic organization. Challenges, opportunities and capacities of e-learning were examined.

Dr. Ali Karimi Morid, Deputy of Strategic Affairs and Head of the Permanent Secretariat of CINVU, in this meeting, the strategic plans of this scientific and academic organization , Explained the formation of the first executive board and also the preparation of a documentary on the introduction of virtual universities and then answered the questions of university representatives.

The event was also attended by senior representatives of the Virtual University of Medical Sciences, Al-Mustafa Al-Amiyah Society, Quran and Hadith University, Faran Institute of Higher Education, Tehran University Electronic Branch, Payame Noor University Virtual Education Unit, University of Religions and Schools and Imam Khomeini University. In order to provide effective cooperation in order to strengthen the mentioned axes, they announced their readiness.

Accordingly, in the initial planning, there are 340 universities and virtual units in Islamic countries and the Islamic world, of which 51 are active in Iran. Islam should be fully exploited in elevating the position of intelligent science and technology.

CINVU is one of the Networks affiliated to "COMSTECH",  the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation that hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This International Organization is a base full of knowledge and ability, which strives to expand public higher education based on smart technology with the goal of justice, deepening and reliability of knowledge and thought, and educational, research, cultural and skill empowerment of the Islamic world.

In order to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation, the representatives of Iran's virtual universities met with the Deputy of Strategic Affairs and Head of the Permanent Secretariat of CINVU.
