The Secretary General of CINVU announced at the meeting of the Second Executive Committee of this scientific and academic institution: The number of member universities has increased from 25 to 50 and the number of virtual students from 8 million to 30 million.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, the second executive committee of CINVU met with the agenda of approving new programs and setting goals to develop future activities, attract new members, determine projects, strengthen inter-university cooperation and help create added value  Islamic Countries and the Study of Challenges and Barriers to Cooperation was hosted by Anadolu University in Eskişehir, Turkeyie.

Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU, while thanking Professor Fuat Erdal, President of the Anadolu University of Turkeyie, for hosting the event, stated that the number of virtual students in the Islamic World has increased from 8 million to 30 million students in the context of the constraints of the Covid disease epidemic, the capabilities of e-learning should be used to strengthen communication between elites, thinkers, universities and Islamic countries, taking into  the development-oriented approach.

The Secretary General of CINVU, while referring to the hosting of the Islamic Republic of Iran by Prof. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary, General Coordinator of the COMSTECH Regarding the performance of CINVU in 2020 and 2021, he said: Despite the limitations caused by the Covid 19 pandemic, the activities of CINVU have continued despite the challenges and opportunities arising from this crisis and adapting to new conditions." Intense funding, planning, organizing, and taking action to make effective connections and implement programs have been successful.

He added: Supporting the establishment of a virtual university in Mali, the use of a comprehensive automation system between members called CCMS, increasing the number of members from 25 to 50 universities in just 18 months, increasing the number of virtual students from 8 million to 30 million people, planning and holding joint international virtual training courses with universities, knowledge-based companies and other educational centers, holding a webinar on challenges and opportunities in virtual education, participating in the symposium of COMSTECH member networks in Pakistan, organizing a pathology meeting to provide postgraduate education Virtual approach to universities and consultation to reduce challenges, concluding a memorandum of cooperation with the two networks of science and technology and nanotechnology parks of Islamic countries, launching an online inquiry system, certificate of joint courses of CINVU and universities, designing a comprehensive program of the virtual world network Mobile phone, strengthening the information system, compiling the regulations of the Strategic Council of CINVU, compiling the regulations for the cooperation of members in the field of education, research, culture and finance, preparing the program 2022 budget and efforts to attract financial resources, host and sign a membership document with the presidents of universities in Islamic countries participating in the Mustafa Award Ceremony, establish a language training center to strengthen communication and define joint projects between members, launch a virtual education system under The CWS title and headquarters recruitment have been among the measures taken over the past two years, despite financial constraints.

Following the meeting of the Second Executive Committee of CINVU, Dr. Mahaser, Special Representative of the Scientific and Technological Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation "COMSTECH" Pointed to science, technology and academia in Iran and asked the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to fulfill its obligations to provide financial support in addition to equipment, facilities and running costs, we want to provide financial support for projects related to our commitments.

He added: So far, we have corresponded with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran three times in this regard, which has not led to a clear answer, so if this situation continues, we will have to make serious decisions.

Also present at the event were Prof. Erdal, President of Anadolu University of Turkey, Prof. Zia Ul-Qayyum, President of Allama Iqbal University of Pakistan and Chairman of the Executive Committee of CINVU, Prof. Khalil Ajami, President of Virtual University of Syria, Dr. Kone, President of Ivory Coast, Dr. Mohammad Ali Ebrahimi Payame Noor University International, Dr. Johari Ali, Representative of AEU of Malaysia, Dr. Ali Karimi, Deputy of Executive and Strategic Affairs and Permanent Secretariat of CINVU, and a group of university officials from Islamic countries they paid.

Accordingly, it was decided that all the issues raised in the meeting of the second executive committee, including holding courses, carrying out projects, integrating documents, etc., be approved for approval.

The General Assembly of CINVU, hosted by Allam Iqbal University of Pakistan, will be voted on to be finalized as final decisions.
