The Iran University of Science and Technology is the Newest Member of CINVU

The Secretary General of CINVU announced the membership of Iran University of Science and Technology in the Strategic Council of the Universities of CINVU as the science and technology hub of this international scientific and academic organization and said: "CINVU, with the aim of explaining the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran and developing scientific and cultural diplomacy, seeks to develop inter-university interactions at home and abroad."

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU, stated in this event: "This international scientific and academic organization has started its activities with the aim of establishing and strengthening the scientific, research and educational relations of the virtual universities of Islamic countries by expanding the scientific, educational and research exchanges of the university centers of the member countries in a virtual way, while sharing existing capabilities, Provide the ground for joint projects for members."

Dr. Najafi Barzegar added: "Strategic relations between universities and industrial, scientific and cultural centers, recruitment of more and more networks through the universities that join this network, operationalization of memoranda and establishment of a knowledge-based and mission-oriented virtual research institute are the most important programs of CINVU."

Dr. Jabbar Ali Zakeri, President of Iran University of Science and Technology, also mentioned the development of international relations as one of the main strategies of the university's main programs and said: "Iran University of Science and Technology, with the formation of the International Vice Chancellor, seeks extensive interaction and the conclusion of a memorandum of joint scientific cooperation with other countries, and in this regard, very effective measures have been taken."

He considered the interaction of Iran University of Science and Technology with Germany, Australia, France, China, Russia, Japan as very wide and stressed the need to develop international scientific diplomacy: "Our country has very strong capacities in the field of science, and we have very capable students, and we must seek to maintain scientific dynamism."

CINVU is one of the Networks affiliated to "COMSTECH",  the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation that hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This International Organization is a base full of knowledge and ability, which strives to expand public higher education based on smart technology with the goal of justice, deepening and reliability of knowledge and thought, and educational, research, cultural and skill empowerment of the Islamic world.
