The Islamic Azad University is the Newest Member of CINVU

During a ceremony attended by Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU and the accompanying delegation, Dr. Aladdin Boroujerdi, International Vice Chancellor of Islamic Azad University and a group of academics, this University with all its national and international units became a member of CINVU.

According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, the Secretary General of CINVU explained the need for scientific and academic diplomacy With the Islamic countries, in this event, which was accompanied by the signing of a memorandum and membership document of the Islamic Azad University in CINVU and said: "This international scientific and academic organization, with the aim of explaining the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the realization of scientific diplomacy and intelligent technology in the international arena, especially the Islamic world, seeks to develop inter-university interactions at home and abroad Internally, the country's capabilities should be reflected in the international arena."

Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar added: CINVU under the Scientific and Technology Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was set up with the aim of establishing and strengthening scientific, research and educational relations between virtual universities of Islamic countries hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran And the research of the university centers of the member countries will increase in a virtual way, and while sharing the existing capabilities, the ground for joint projects will be provided for the members.

The Secretary General of CINVU emphasized: Strategic relations between universities with industrial, scientific and cultural centers, strengthening the recruitment process through newly merged universities, operationalization of memoranda and establishment of a virtual research institute for knowledge-based and mission-oriented virtual universities are the most important programs.

In this event, which was attended by Dr. Karimi Morid, Deputy of Strategic Affairs and Executive and Head of the Permanent Secretariat of CINVU, Dr. Kouhian and Dr. Ganji, Dr. Aladdin Boroujerdi, Vice Chancellor for International Affairs and Non-Iranian Student Affairs of Islamic Azad University. He stated the main programs of this university and said: "Azad University seeks extensive interaction and concluding a memorandum of joint scientific cooperation with other countries, and so far very effective measures have been taken in this direction."

The Vice Chancellor for International Affairs and Non-Iranian Students of the Islamic Azad University also referred to the signing of this memorandum and added: "Cooperation with CINVU will be a turning point in order to expand scientific interactions at the Islamic Azad University."

CINVU is one of the Networks affiliated to "COMSTECH",  the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation that hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This International Organization is a base full of knowledge and ability, which strives to expand public higher education based on smart technology with the goal of justice, deepening and reliability of knowledge and thought, and educational, research, cultural and skill empowerment of the Islamic world.
