The Meeting of the Secretary General of CINVU with the President of Tehran University of Medical Sciences

In order to expand scientific, educational, health and medical cooperation, the Secretary General of CINVU met with the President of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
According to the Public Relations Report of CINVU, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU, in this event, referring to the capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of medical sciences and emphasized the necessity of using these university capacities in order to expand scientific diplomacy.
Dr. Hossein Ghanaati, President of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, also in this event, expressing his readiness to join this university in the big family of CINVU and considered it necessary to use all capacities in order to strengthen the scientific diplomacy of health.
The Tehran University of Medical Sciences - TUMS - is the survivor of Dar al-Funun School of Medicine in Tehran that based on more than a century of activity and it is considered one of the oldest academic medical science institutions in Iran. This university has the most students in medical fields compared to other higher education centers in Iran and it has the largest faculties of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, rehabilitation, paramedicine, health, nursing and midwifery in Iran.
Notably, the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
